Privacy Policy for SNL Roulette

SNL Roulette is a Chrome extension that randomly plays sketches from the official Saturday Night Live YouTube channel. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about any data we collect and how we use it.

What data we collect

Currently, this extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or usage data. All operations happen locally in your browser. The extension simply opens a new browser tab to play a public video based on your selected criteria.

Future functionality

In future versions, we may add optional features that could require minimal data collection, such as:

• Storing user preferences (e.g., selected decades)
• Anonymous usage statistics to improve recommendations
• Optional sign-in for syncing favorites or settings

If any of these features are introduced, we will update this policy and clearly notify users of any new permissions or data usage. Your privacy will remain a top priority.

Third-party services

SNL Roulette does not use any third-party trackers or analytics. It does not communicate with any external servers other than loading publicly available YouTube videos.
